About This website

This website is intended to a) act as an expansion on my standard resume (Curriculum Vitae), allowing me to add more detail and interactive features than is possible on paper, and b) give me an opportunity to write short articles or blog posts on the topics I'm exploring in my work and research. The website itself is made and maintained with Drupal. Have a look around, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Brief Bio

I obtained my Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in 2008. Through MUN's Co-op program, I gained work experience in the Power, Oil and Gas, and Tele-Communications industries. You can find more details about my work experience under Experience.

I am now working towards my Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Ottawa, where I am focusing on Computer Vision and Computer Graphics; you can find more details under Research, and some under Experience.

In my spare time I like to volunteer (details under Volunteer), read (sci-fi and non-fiction mostly), spend time with my dog, and skate on the Rideau canal in the winter or bicycle/walk around Ottawa in the summer. Lately, I've also been spending a lot of time teaching myself Drupal, which I used to build this website.
